I’ve Learned to Cross Stitch!

After watching several Fat Quarter Shop FlossTube episodes and oogling over all of the super cute cross stitch patterns available, I finally gave it a try. Oh my word! It’s so relaxing. I love stitching away and watching the pattern come together. I love counting the little squares and not having to trace a pattern. That was the one thing I didn’t like about embroidery. It seemed like no matter how carefully I traced a pattern, it never turned out quite like the designers.  I’ve purchased so many cross stitch supplies. If you saw the cross stitch drawer in my sewing room, you would think that I had been cross stitching for years. Is anyone else pandemic panic shopping for crafting supplies? With supply chain delays and shipping delays, you never know when something is going to be back in stock once it sells out. I’ve been jumping at the opportunity to purchase floss and patterns as soon as they are offered or I receive a notification that something is back in stock. I know. It’s bad. I
